【Before first use】
Clean cookware thoroughly in hot, soapy water, rinse and dry completely to remove manufacturing residue.
【Preheat】
It is recommended to set the heat to low to medium for best results. Food often sticks together if incorrect heat settings are used or the cookware is used on a high setting for too long. The cookware must be preheated slowly. If the cookware is heated too quickly on a high setting, allowing the cast iron to expand faster than the enamel can cause the enamel to chip.
【General use】
Please note that this cooker does not require high heating, only a low setting to maintain the ideal cooking temperature during use. This cookware is suitable for use on all heat source stoves except microwaves. Place the hot pan on a trivet, wooden board or cloth, not directly on an unprotected work surface. When moving cookware on the stove, be sure to lift them and not slide them. Because handles become hot during use, use oven mitts to remove cookware from the stovetop.
[Utensils used]
Metal spoons and utensils may scratch or damage the enamel surface. Only use silicone, wooden or nylon utensils.
【Cleaning and Storage】
This product is hand washable only. Wash cookware thoroughly in hot, soapy water after each use. For stubborn marks, use a nylon scrubber or non-abrasive cleaner, never use steel, metal or powder cleaners as they can scratch the surface. Dry the cookware thoroughly with your hands after cleaning to allow it to drain/drip dry better.
【warn】
Electric stoves are able to withstand higher temperatures and produce higher amounts of heat. Medium heat is recommended. Use extreme caution when cooking at high temperatures. The pot should be allowed to cool slowly and should not be immersed in cold water as cast iron is a brittle material.
