AirPods offer a reimagined wireless headphone experience. Just pop them out of the Lightning charging case and use them with your iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, or Mac.

After a simple one-click setup, AirPods work like magic. They turn on automatically and stay connected at all times. AirPods can even sense when they're in your ears and pause when you take them out.

To adjust the volume, change the song, make a call, or even get directions, just say "Hey Siri" and make your request. You're free to wear one or two AirPods and double-tap to play or fast-forward while listening to music or podcasts.

AirPods provide 5 hours of listening time and 3 hours of talk time on a single charge. ? Just place it in the charging case for 15 minutes and get 3 hours of listening time⁴ or 2 hours of talk time.

AirPods are powered by the Apple H1 headphone chip and use optical sensors and motion accelerometers to detect when they are in your ears. Whether you use two AirPods at the same time or just one, the H1 chip automatically routes audio and enables the microphone. When you're on a call or talking to Siri, an additional voice-detection accelerometer works with a beamforming microphone to filter out external noise and focus on your voice.
