1. Is Riko suitable for different freeze-dried foods?

This is our goal. Riko is designed to be compatible with a variety of freeze-dried foods, allowing you to continue feeding your pet the foods they already know and love. The app will also support popular freeze-dried food brands and provide feeding guidance. For optimal compatibility, the dimensions of a single freeze-dried food product should not exceed 15 × 15 × 25 mm (approximately 0.6 × 0.6 × 1.0 inches). If Riko is going to be your pet's primary feed, we recommend using a nutritionally complete and balanced freeze-dried food instead of freeze-dried treats.

2. Can Riko heat water to make food?

No, Riko uses room temperature water. We also tried using hot water in the early days, but this would make the system more complex and consume significantly more power. Therefore, Riko improves room temperature rehydration by grinding the freeze-dried food into small pieces and allowing soaking time after spraying.

3. Can dry food be used instead of freeze-drying?

It might be possible in theory, but we don't recommend it. Riko is designed for freeze-drying food products and works best when used as intended.

4. Can the ratio of water to food be adjusted?
